What is Chimichurri?
Chimichurri is a traditional South American Sauce/Marinade which originated from the Argentine Gauchos (Cowboys).
Nowadays other South/Latin American countires like Brazil, Chile and Uruguay have their own variation of the Chimichurri Sauce that originally was used for open fire BBQ's perfected by Gauchos.
Argentina is known for being one of the highest consumers of beef in the world, as well as for famous soccer players like Maradona and Messi. As well argentinean icons such as Che Guevara, Eva Peron (Evita), El Tango Dance, and Fangio...
"Dorina's Chimichurri is a tangy and herbaceous sauce that has been passed down from generation to generation. It is an authentic and traditional recipe that my mother Dorina has taught me, " says Dorina Chimichurri Founder, Leonardo Carbonara.
"It is traditionally served with the Argentinean "Asado" or as we know it BBQ's and is perfect for grilled meats, poultry, fish, sausages and game meats."
It truly is delicious and 100% natural. It adds extra flavour and is a great alternative to mayonnaise, tomato & BBQ sauces. Just like tomato sauce is at every aussie BBQ, so is Chimichurri in the home of every South American or Latin American Country.
Dorina's Chimichurri is 100% natural product with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our chimihchurri is gluten free and cholestorol free and is also halal accredited.
